LawaL Legal & Tax Advisory announces the entry of Prof. Massimo Occhiena, Attorney-at-Law, as a new Partner.
The professional will operate from the Turin office, contributing to the development of the firm’s activities in the field of administrative law and related litigation before the administrative courts (TAR, Council of State), the accounting courts (Court of Auditors, first and second instance), the Higher Water Tribunal, and the ordinary courts in the matters within his competence.
Massimo Occhiena is Full Professor of Administrative Law at the University of Sassari and an administrative lawyer registered with the Turin Bar Association. Over the course of his career, he has gained solid experience in advising and representing public and private entities and individuals in the sectors of authorisations and concessions (public waters, quarries, renewable energy), trade, public contracts and procurement, public competitions for recruitment into public employment, environmental law, healthcare and pharmaceutical law, construction and urban planning, education and universities, pensions for public employees, and administrative and accounting liability.
Alongside his professional activity, Occhiena boasts a significant academic and institutional background. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and is involved in various scientific committees and legal journals. Over the years, he has also held important positions within public institutions and study bodies, including participation in government commissions for the drafting of major legislative texts. In 2024, he was elected President of the Association of Administrative Lawyers of Piedmont, confirming his role as a reference figure in the Italian administrative law landscape.
