Buchalter has announced that Zack Thompson has joined the firm’s Sacramento office as a member of the Litigation Practice Group and Appellate Practice Group.
A former appellate attorney with California’s Third District Court of Appeal in Sacramento, Thompson represents a broad spectrum of businesses and assists clients in resolving a variety of commercial and employment-related disputes.

Thompson represents businesses ranging from small retail and hospitality companies to large financial institutions and agricultural operations. His practice covers commercial and employment disputes, including contract and fraud claims, partnership and shareholder disputes, real estate matters, and wage and discrimination cases. He handles all stages of litigation, from negotiation and mediation through trial and appeal, in both California and federal courts.

He has also presented to business and legal audiences on appellate law and labor and employment law. Additionally, Thompson has served on the board of the Federal Bar Association’s Sacramento Chapter and has been active in several community and nonprofit organizations.
