LPA Law announced the appointment of four new counsels, effective July 1, 2026: Karim Ben Khamsa (Mergers & Acquisitions), Lanier Fleischmann-Caruso (Real Estate), Francine Huynh (Mergers & Acquisitions), and Charlotte Sicsic (Employment Law). These appointments recognize their outstanding technical expertise and longstanding commitment to serving clients.
Karim Ben Khamsa
Karim Ben Khamsa has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2019.
He advises French and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and corporate law matters, particularly in the industrial, energy, and technology sectors.
As Counsel, Karim will contribute to the development of the firm’s private equity practice, with a particular focus on international investments and cross-border transactions.
He will also strengthen the firm’s Middle East Desk, assisting clients with projects involving Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
His professional background and deep understanding of international business environments will help foster synergies across the firm’s teams and offices, supporting an integrated service offering tailored to clients’ cross-border challenges.
Karim holds a Master’s degree in Business Law, an LL.M. in Comparative Business Law from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University, and a Master’s degree in International Business Law from Paris V Descartes University.
Lanier Fleischmann-Caruso
Lanier Fleischmann-Caruso has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2020.
He advises French, German-speaking, and international clients in real estate and corporate law, with particular expertise in commercial real estate transactions involving all types of assets, including office, retail, and logistics properties.
He regularly advises on acquisitions and disposals of assets, companies, and real estate portfolios, as well as on real estate asset management matters. As a member of the firm’s German Desk, he advises clients in both domestic and cross-border contexts.
Lanier will continue to develop the firm’s real estate investment practice for international clients.
He holds a Master 2/MBA in Business Law and Management from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University, as well as the Magistère in International and European Business Law from the Faculty of Law of Nancy.
Francine Huynh
Francine Huynh has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2018.
She advises French and international groups on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, corporate governance matters, and corporate law generally, primarily within the industrial and services sectors.
She also provides strategic advice in connection with private equity transactions and negotiations with business partners and investors.
Through her experience supporting complex transactions in both domestic and international settings, Francine has developed a deep understanding of the legal, operational, and strategic issues involved in investment, growth, and business transformation projects.
Drawing on this expertise, she assists the firm’s clients in structuring and securing their transactions and strategic decisions.
Francine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law, a Master’s degree in Business Law from Paris-Sud University, a Master’s degree in Business Law from Rennes I University, and a University Diploma in English and Chinese Languages and Civilizations. She also completed the first year of an LL.M. in International Business Law at Wuhan University in China, in partnership with Paris-Sud University.
Charlotte Sicsic
Charlotte Sicsic has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2015.
She advises and represents clients across all areas of employment law, covering both individual and collective labor relations, in both advisory and litigation matters.
Building on her experience within the firm, Charlotte will develop a comprehensive, multidisciplinary offering focused on compensation and remuneration, addressing the growing needs of businesses of all sizes in structuring and securing their remuneration policies in an environment characterized by significant regulatory developments and continuous change.
She will also contribute to expanding the firm’s workplace investigations practice. In an environment of heightened attention to risk prevention, internal investigations have become a key tool for managing sensitive situations, particularly those involving harassment, discrimination, whistleblowing reports, and compliance issues.
Charlotte holds a Master’s degree (Master 2) in Employment Law from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
