Veirano Advogados announces the arrival of José Guilherme Malheiro as a new partner. Based in São Paulo, he will strengthen the firm’s finance and capital markets practices, with a particular focus on debt transactions in the Brazilian and international markets, especially in connection with infrastructure projects.
With more than 12 years of experience, José Guilherme advises financial institutions, public and private companies, investment funds, securitization companies, asset managers and sponsors on financing transactions, capital raising and capital markets matters. His practice encompasses the structuring, negotiation and implementation of financing transactions and debt issuances in both domestic and international markets, including debentures, commercial notes, bonds and other fixed-income instruments, as well as structured finance transactions, securitization, special situations and debt restructurings.
The arrival of the new partner strengthens Veirano’s ability to support clients in financing and debt transactions amid the growing diversification of capital sources and continued investment in infrastructure projects.

About the New Partner
José Guilherme holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and a specialization in the physical and regulatory aspects of the electricity sector from the Brazilian Association of Electric Energy Companies (ABCE). Throughout his career, he has participated in domestic and cross-border transactions involving infrastructure, energy, financial markets and capital raising, advising lenders, financiers, issuers and investors on significant transactions in these sectors.
