Morgan Lewis announced the arrival of a five-lawyer team to the firm’s Paris office, adding depth to its international trade, economic sanctions and export control, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, ESG, and cross-border investigations capabilities. Partners Marie-Agnès Nicolas and Anne Gaustad-Hanken, of counsel Mathieu Rossignol, and associates Lorenza Nava and Timothé Radosavljevic join from Hughes Hubbard, where Marie-Agnès and Anne served as co-chairs of the global investigations, enforcement, and compliance practice in Europe.
The team’s experience further enhances Morgan Lewis’s coordinated transatlantic trade enforcement and export controls platform, building on the recent addition of partner Michael Huneke in Washington, DC, who also joined from Hughes Hubbard.

Marie-Agnès assists and represents multinational organizations in complex cross-border enforcement and French regulatory matters related to anti-corruption compliance, economic sanctions, ESG, and French blocking statute issues and discovery. She has extensive experience leading cross-border internal investigations and advising on the design and enhancement of global compliance programs, including risk assessments, audits, and third-party due diligence reviews. She also counsels banks and financial institutions on complex contentious matters involving investment products, including derivatives and structured products.
Anne advises multinational clients on cross-border enforcement matters involving economic sanctions, export controls, anti-corruption compliance, business and human rights risk, and corporate governance. She represents global companies in investigations and regulatory proceedings before US and European authorities, multilateral development banks, and other international institutions, and advises on compliance program development, internal and regulatory investigations, third-party due diligence, and risk assessments.
Mathieu Rossignol advises multinational clients on internal investigations, corporate governance, anti?corruption compliance, and enforcement matters under French, U.S. and U.K. legal frameworks, including France’s Sapin?II law and the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. He has significant experience conducting compliance audits, global risk assessments, due diligence reviews on third?party agents and partners, and supporting clients in regulatory controls and monitorships. Rossignol also assists companies with compliance issues arising in mergers and acquisitions and regularly represents clients in high?stakes investigations and reviews across multiple jurisdictions.
Lorenza Nava advises multinational companies on anti?corruption compliance, EU sanctions, human rights risk, and the development and implementation of bespoke corporate compliance programs. She supports internal investigations, cross?border litigation supervision, and the design of compliance frameworks that address sanctions, export controls and governance obligations. Prior to her current role, she gained experience with international organizations including the European External Action Service’s sanctions unit and in corporate ethics and compliance functions.
Timothé Radosavljevic advises global clients on anti?corruption compliance, sanctions and export controls, and internal investigations as part of cross?border enforcement matters. He assists with compliance program creation and implementation, compliance audits, and reviews of contractual and product classification issues under EU and U.S. regulatory regimes. Before joining private practice, he completed internships with international organizations such as the United Nations and the European Commission, where he worked on institutional liability issues and litigation representation, and also trained in white?collar crime and environmental criminal law at an international law firm.
