Xero’s Acquisition of TaxCycle

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP advised Xero on the acquisition.

Xero acquired Trilogy Software (TaxCycle), a leading Canadian tax preparation software company for accountants and bookkeepers. 

The acquisition will advance Xero’s offerings to Canadian customers, following recent additions such as provincial sales tax return reports and Canada chart of accounts templates.

TaxCycle will continue to operate as a standalone brand under CEO Cameron Peters’ leadership.

Xero is an online accounting software platform based in Wellington, New Zealand with offices in Canada, United States and London.
