The law firm Chamon, Serrano e Amorim Sociedade de Advogados (CSA Advogados) announces the addition of Thomaz Myrrha Cordeiro de Mattos and Vinícius Mesquita Simões to its partnership, a move that strengthens the firm’s practice in mergers and acquisitions, estate and succession planning, corporate governance, and business restructuring.
Founders of Myrrha de Mattos e Mesquita Sociedade de Advogados, a firm with offices in Belo Horizonte and São Paulo, Mattos and Mesquita Simões have built, over more than a decade, a recognized track record in handling highly complex transactions, including domestic and international deals. Their work is marked by close, strategic, and trusted advisory services to companies, investors, and business families.
Both graduated from Faculdade de Direito Milton Campos. Thomaz holds a postgraduate degree from IBMEC, while Vinícius earned his postgraduate degree from Insper and completed a specialization in Compliance at CEDIN. With solid expertise in corporate law, they work in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), complex corporate restructurings, private equity and venture capital transactions, the implementation of corporate governance systems, international operations involving corporate law in Brazil and the United States, as well as drafting strategic contracts and resolving business disputes.
The new partners bring with them a team of two attorneys, further strengthening the firm’s tax advisory and litigation practice and expanding CSA’s capabilities beyond corporate planning and M&A.
