Prado, Santarossa, a firm dedicated to supporting companies with integrated legal solutions, has launched in São Paulo. With four founding partners (Lucilene Prado, Irina Santarossa, Breno Bassoli, and Matheus Fornazari), the firm builds upon a shared track record spanning more than a decade.
“This shared experience gave rise to a distinctive way of working: one that is close, rigorous, integrated, and aligned with the realities of the client and the business. We believe that law creates value when it serves as a management tool—rather than an end in itself,” says Lucilene.
With a practice geared toward corporate needs and professionals who have worked at major companies, the firm—which emphasizes tax law—operates based on a vision that connects legal, operational, financial, and strategic dimensions. This perspective is reflected in everything from complex tax matters to the team’s work in the third sector and real estate, always with a focus on the tangible impact of every decision and on risk management.
The firm also brings experience in supporting foreign companies entering Brazil or structuring their operations in the country, helping them navigate the local legal, regulatory, tax, and operational landscape. The goal is to provide these companies with clear benchmarks for making decisions and moving forward in the Brazilian market.
“The strength of our practice is enhanced by a team with experience in the legal departments of major corporations, as well as in auditing, multidisciplinary firms, governance structures, and boards of directors. This allows us to look at legal issues alongside the effects they have on the business,” explains Irina.
The partners’ diverse backgrounds and experience enable Prado, Santarossa to structure concrete paths that support decision-making, strategic initiatives, and day-to-day business operations, explains Matheus. “Our role is to transform complexity into clear direction—with precision, accountability, and a grounded sense of reality. We don’t just deliver abstract legal interpretations; we offer concrete guidance, model solutions, assess legal and financial impacts, and structure responses aligned with the client’s operations and objectives,” he adds.
The partners also emphasize that the firm aims to foster close, long-term client relationships. “We act as an independent extension of the client; we are accessible, available, and deeply engaged. Relationships are built through day-to-day interaction: understanding the current context, anticipating issues, and being present when it matters most,” says Breno.
Headquartered in São Paulo, the firm begins operations by advising domestic and foreign companies of various sizes and sectors, handling matters within Brazil as well as operations with international connections.
