Simões Ribeiro Advogados announced the addition of two new partners to strengthen its presence in strategic areas and support the firm’s continued growth. Joining the firm are Fernando Medici Jr., a recognized expert in arbitration and complex litigation, and Ane Elisa Perez, widely acknowledged for her expertise in public law, infrastructure, arbitration, dispute boards, and strategic public-sector disputes.
The move enhances the firm’s ability to address increasingly sophisticated demands from both domestic and international clients, reinforcing its already established capabilities in corporate law, complex contracts, strategic disputes, and economically significant projects.
Fernando Medici Jr. joins the firm together with his team to integrate and strengthen the Arbitration and Strategic Litigation practice. With more than 23 years of experience, he has built a distinguished career handling domestic and international disputes involving corporate matters, commercial contracts, construction and infrastructure, energy, telecommunications, and debt recovery.
Throughout his career, he has participated in over one hundred court proceedings and arbitrations, including high-profile cases that have contributed significantly to the development of arbitration in Brazil. Fernando holds an LL.M. in Contract Law from Insper and is recognized by leading national and international legal directories, including Chambers & Partners, Leaders League, and The Legal 500.

With a solid track record of more than 30 years in projects involving public procurement, concessions, public-private partnerships, infrastructure, arbitration, and dispute resolution, Ane is widely recognized by the market as one of the leading experts in public law, dispute resolution, and litigation within regulated sectors.
A Ph.D. candidate in Administrative Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), holding a Master’s degree in Constitutional Law from the same institution and serving as a professor both in Brazil and abroad, Ane has a prominent practice in both advisory work and the management of complex disputes. Her work is recognized by directories such as Chambers & Partners, The Legal 500, Leaders League, and Análise Advocacia.
