Sergio Fienga joins FIVERS as a Partner, further strengthening the firm’s expertise in administrative law.
He has gained thirty years of experience in leading law firms, most recently at Studio Pedersoli – where he opened the Rome office – before continuing his career at PedersoliGattai.
Sergio Fienga is joined at FIVERS by his team, consisting of Marco Trevisan (counsel), Jaime Guiso Gallisai (senior associate), Francesca Perna (associate) and Alessandra Lonardo (junior associate), further strengthening the administrative law team and expanding the areas of expertise serving, in particular, the energy & infrastructure industry.
Sergio Fienga has extensive experience in public procurement, concessions, urban planning and administrative proceedings. He has also gained significant experience in the regulated sectors of energy law, pharmaceutical law and electronic communications law, with a particular focus on environmental law, as well as in the transport and aviation sectors.
In particular, in the energy & infrastructure sector, he has assisted his clients in various industrial segments, from renewable sources to energy efficiency, waste-to-energy, integrated water cycle and oil & gas, working alongside leading Italian and multinational companies, as well as financial institutions in strategic transactions aimed at developing their respective business plans.
He has advised public bodies, publicly owned companies and investment funds on the management of works, projects and services of general interest and on the preparation of public-private partnership initiatives and offers and project finance, with particular regard to energy efficiency investments and smart services in local public transport and healthcare infrastructure. He has also gained considerable experience in environmental law, providing specific advice to companies and public administrations on pollution protection.
