Cole Schotz P.C. announced the arrival of James Green, Jr. as a member of the firm’s Litigation Department in Delaware.
Mr. Green brings over 20 years of experience representing Delaware businesses and corporations, shareholders, creditors, individuals, and fiduciaries in complex commercial, bankruptcy, intellectual property, and construction litigation. He has first-chair trial experience in Delaware’s Court of Chancery and Superior Court Complex Commercial Litigation Division, the Delaware District Court and Bankruptcy Court, and the American Arbitration Association.
“Jim’s experience in complex litigation matters in Delaware’s state and federal courts will be a tremendous asset to the firm,” said Warren Usatine, co-chair of the Litigation Department and co-managing shareholder at Cole Schotz. “His understanding of Delaware practice and his proven track record in leading litigation teams in sophisticated cases will be invaluable to our clients.”
Mr. Green, who joins the firm from Seitz, Van Ogtrop & Green, P.A., is a longtime member of the Business and Litigation Sections of the American Bar Association, the Litigation section of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Richard S. Rodney American Inn of Court, the Delaware Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, the Delaware State Bar Association, and the Federal Civil Panel. He has also served on the Board of Directors of various local community organizations and companies.

Mr. Green received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law and a B.A. in Philosophy from Gettysburg College.
