The international legal practice Osborne Clarke has joined forces with lawyer and notary Dr Marius Hommer to add notarial services to its offering at its Berlin office.
Within the scope of the cooperation with Osborne Clarke, a focus will now be placed on the notarial support of transactions and related processes, particularly in the areas of real estate, venture capital and M&A.
“The addition of a lawyer’s notary’s office to the Berlin location offers us the opportunity to strategically complement our range of services. The number of notaries in Berlin has been declining for years, while at the same time there has been a steady increase in transaction volumes. We are delighted to now also be active in this exciting market and to have found in Marius a colleague with transactional experience to build a highly specialised notary’s office,” said Carsten Schneider, Managing Partner Osborne Clarke in Germany.
Marius Hommer was admitted as a lawyer in 2014 and as a notary public in 2022 with an office in Berlin. He started his legal career at DLA Piper in the areas of restructuring and finance, which was followed by a longer stint at Dentons’ Berlin office with a focus on advising on real estate transactions.
