Nuvei Corporation announced it entered into a definitive agreement providing for the acquisition of all of the issued and outstanding shares of SimplexCC Ltd. for approximately US$250 million.This deal is expected to close in the second half of 2021.

This new acquisition will enhance and expand Nuvei’s steadily growing portfolio of alternative payment methods, by providing a banking infrastructure to the cryptocurrency industry.

Nuvei Corporation is an electronic payment processing company. The Montreal-based company is Canada’s largest private and non-bank payment processor.

SimplexCC Ltd provides payment solutions. The Company offers fraudless payment processing using credit and debit cards. SimplexCC serves customers in Isreal.
