Lotuss Stores (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.’s RM2.3 Billion Term Loan Facility

Rahmat Lim & Partners assisted Lotuss Stores (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. on the matter.

Maybank Investment Bank Berhad, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad and United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd granted a  a syndicated term loan facility of up to RM2.3 billion to Lotuss Stores (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Tesco Stores (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.), a hypermarket chain with more than 60 stores in Malaysia. 

The Facility will be used to refinance an existing intercompany loan extended by the parent company of the Borrower, C.P. Retail Development Company Limited, to the Borrower.
