Sara Ann Brown has joined Thompson Coburn’s litigation team in Dallas.
Sara is an experienced litigator who represents clients in high-stakes complex litigation. She works with clients through every stage of litigation, from preliminary negotiations to trials and appeals on a wide variety of disputes, including business and public-policy disputes. Sara previously worked as a law clerk for Judge Harry Lee Hudspeth of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas before joining Gardere Wynne Swell LLP (now Foley & Lardner LLP).

Sara joins a team of 25 attorneys in the Firm’s Dallas office.
Since moving to Dallas in 2012 after her clerkship, Sara has established deep roots in North Texas. In January 2021, her work with the Innocence Project secured the release of Rosa Jimenez, a Texas woman who served nearly two decades in prison after a wrongful murder conviction. And Sara is the immediate-past president and a longtime board member of Youth180, Inc., one of the few licensed adolescent outpatient treatment centers in Dallas providing trauma-responsive counseling, prevention, intervention and education services to youth and their families.
