Imply Data’s $100 Million Series D financing

Gunderson Dettmer represented Imply Data on the deal.

Imply Data, a California-based developer of a full-stack and multi-cloud platform, announced its $100 million Series D financing led by Thoma Bravo with participation from OMERS, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Khosla Ventures. The company’s platform uses the Apache Druid database to power real-time analytics and allows for companies to monitor data. The new capital will be invested towards Druid’s new engine, Polaris, and continue helping make developers successful.

The Gunderson deal team was co-led by Andy Bradley (Picture) and Nic Markman and included Nate Gray, Jie Wang, Hannah Porter, Keon Seif-Naraghi, Kevin Mann.
