Hogan Lovells further strengthens its global M&A practice with Amsterdam hire

Hogan Lovells has announced the appointment of Tom van Duuren as a partner in the firm’s global M&A practice, based in the Amsterdam office.

Tom joins Hogan Lovells from CMS. He advises both international and national clients on a wide variety of corporate restructurings, joint ventures and related financing arrangements across the automotive, pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors. He is also qualified as a civil law notary under Dutch law, and handles transactions from start to finish.

The firm’s M&A practice is comprised of more than 500 lawyers across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Over the past four years, Hogan Lovells has advised on more than US$660bn in M&A transactions worldwide, representing entities, principals, and financial advisors in almost 900 public and private transactions.

Hogan Lovells is an American-British law firm co-headquartered in London and Washington, DC. The firm was formed in 2010 by the merger of the American law firm Hogan & Hartson and the British law firm Lovells.
