Fibrant’s Chapter 11

The Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Fibrant, has hired Lowenstein Sandler as legal counsel in its Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.

Fibrant LLC manufactures Caprolactam and other chemical products. The company operates as a subsidiary of Fibrant B.V. On February 23, 2018, Fibrant, LLC, along with its three affiliates, filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Georgia.

Previously claiming to have been the “largest, most complicated, chemical manufacturing business in the state of Georgia,” the debtor reports approximately $10 – $50 million in both assets and debt.
