The lawyer, who has a career spanning nearly 40 years, joins the team with his vast experience in Corporate Law (including M&A), Foreign Investment, Contract Law, Competition, Insurance and Reinsurance.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Fábio built a solid career in law, working in renowned law firms, such as Eick, Haber, Shima & Pacheco Advogados and Veirano Advogados – in the latter, he joined the firm for nearly three decades, focusing his work on Mergers and Acquisitions.
Graduated in Law from UFRJ (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro), the lawyer – who is also a guest professor of M&A at Ibmec-Rio’s MBA – is part of the Competition Group from IBRADEMP (Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Empresarial), in addition to his past experience as a member of the Board of Officers of the Brazil-Germany Chamber of Commerce – Rio de Janeiro section and also of the Board of Directors of the France-Brazil Chamber of Commerce – Rio de Janeiro section. Moreover, Fábio has extensive experience in matters related to Arab countries through the Middle East and North Africa Desk.
Alongside partners Gabriel Boavista Laender and Danielle Matos, Fábio strengthens the Firm’s activities and its pillars, which are innovation and the use of technology in the development of legal solutions for companies seeking to adapt to the demands of the digital market.
