DLA Piper’s new Sao Paulo, Brazil office has expanded with the addition of Violeta Libergott as counsel. Violetta brings nearly 15 years of experience practicing under New York and Brazilian law, representing multinational companies, financial institutions and investment funds in cross-border M&A, joint venture, and private equity transactions, with a focus on transactions involving private and public companies in Latin American markets.
Violeta joins a multilingual and multicultural team in Sao Paulo, who all work under US law advising clients in a wide range of local and cross-border matters, including mergers and acquisitions, banking, project financing, capital markets, compliance, antitrust, disputes, and other practice areas.
