Clark Hill announced that Ari Derman has joined the firm as Senior Counsel in its Banking and Financial Services group. He will be based in Clark Hill’s Chicago office and also be a part of the Financial Services Regulatory and Compliance team.
Derman’s practice centers on regulatory compliance work for the accounts receivable management (ARM) industry. He also defends clients against enforcement actions while assisting with policy and procedure management and finding corporate advisory strategies and solutions.
“After more than a decade of in-house work, I’m very excited to partner with a firm that has the resources of Clark Hill,” Derman said. “It’s a tremendous opportunity to team up with Joann and offer a really specialized brand of corporate advisory work that’s unique to the banking and financial services industry.”
“I’ve known and respected many people who have come through Clark Hill. They’ve had great success in working with several different regulators and have had great results in enforcement actions,” Derman said. “Also, having grown up and gone to school in the Midwest, joining a national firm that has its roots here was very attractive to me.”
Derman earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School.
