Cleve J. Glenn joins BakerHostetler’s Houston office as a partner in the firm’s Business Practice Group and member of the Mergers and Acquisitions team and Energy team.
Glenn uses his widespread knowledge in M&A and energy transactions, corporate governance and general corporate matters in advising middle market energy companies, private equity portfolio companies, family offices and financial services companies.
Having previously served as general counsel and chief financial officer of an energy services company, Glenn possesses a unique blend of experience in both in-house and private practice roles that further strengthens the firm’s ability to assist clients with strategic transactions and business decisions.
Glenn’s arrival is key to the strategic expansion of BakerHostetler’s Business Practice Group, which most recently welcomed a skilled team of eight M&A, private equity and securities attorneys led by partners Will Chuchawat and JR Lanis.
Glenn is the latest addition to BakerHostetler’s Business Practice Group, which has welcomed more than 40 accomplished lateral attorneys since the start of 2022. Nationwide, the group consists of more than 250 attorneys serving clients around the globe, including more than 100 who work on M&A and private equity transactions. With extensive experience as a practiced M&A lawyer and licensed certified public accountant, Glenn will bolster the M&A and corporate capabilities of BakerHostetler’s Houston office and its Energy team.
