Jennifer Solari joined BakerHostetler’s Atlanta office as a partner in the firm’s national Litigation Practice Group and a member of the White Collar, Investigations and Securities Enforcement and Litigation team.
A former federal prosecutor, Solari was with the United States Attorney’s Office for more than a decade. In her role as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Southern District of Georgia, she was senior litigation counsel and, prior to that, deputy chief of the Criminal Division. Solari is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where she served as a trial counsel and lead prosecutor as well as a former special agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
As an AUSA, Solari served as the Southern District of Georgia’s Anti-terrorism Advisory Council coordinator and as its criminal health care fraud coordinator. She was also the district’s computer hacking and intellectual property attorney and national security cyber specialist, assisting prosecutors and agents investigating and prosecuting cybercrime, particularly in relation to the Electronic Communications Privacy Act.
Throughout her career, Solari has taught courses in counterproliferation, electronic evidence, trade secrets, parallel investigations and computer crimes. She was also a senior instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center from 2006 to 2012. Solari additionally served as a special agent in the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and a senior trial counsel and trial counsel in the U.S. Navy.
At BakerHostetler, Solari will use her skills to help clients protect their businesses and, in many situations, prevent violations before they occur. Her experience working as a federal prosecutor will be an asset to clients as they look to navigate a wide range of legal and regulatory matters.
Solari received her B.A. from University of Richmond and her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law.
