Nicholson y Cano, one of Argentina’s leading law firms, announces the promotion of three new partners: Diego Caride, Juan Martín Ferreiro, and Ezequiel Matías Marcos. With these appointments, the Firm now has a total of 32 partners, offering expertise across nearly all practice areas related to business law.
Diego Caride is a specialist in Corporate Law and M&A, with a focus on the Oil, Gas, and Mining sectors. He studied at the Universidad Católica Argentina and completed a Master’s degree in Business Law at Universidad de San Andrés.
He joined Nicholson y Cano in 2015 and has taken part in major M&A transactions, infrastructure and energy projects, advising clients at all stages of the transactions.
Juan Martín Ferreiro develops his practice in the banking sector, specializing in Capital Markets and Corporate Finance. He studied at the University of Buenos Aires and is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association.
He specializes in structuring financial trusts, secured and unsecured credit facilities, trade finance, leasing transactions, investment project financing, public securities issuances, debt renegotiations, restructurings, and regulatory matters, having participated in more than 2,000 credit securitization transactions.
Ezequiel Matías Marcos works in the Insurance practice area and has solid experience in civil and commercial litigation, with a strong focus on insurance law and civil liability. He graduated from the University of Morón and has pursued an extensive academic career, coordinating the Postgraduate Program in Procedural Law and State Defense at the State Attorneys’ School.
He joined the Firm in 2011, and his work includes judicial and extrajudicial negotiations, as well as the analysis of risks, liabilities, and contingencies, providing strategic legal advice to leading insurance companies.
