Walton Street Capital’s $77 Million Loan

Nader Hayaux & Goebel and Ritch, Mueller, Heather y Nicolau advised on the deal

Banco Nacional de Comercio Exterior de México (Bancomext) granted a $77 million financing, to the real estate found WSC CKD Litibú – managed by Walton Street Capital (WSC).

Proceeds will be used for the refurbishment of hotel Conrad Playa Mita.

Walton Street Capital, L.L.C. is a real estate investment firm. The firm, led by Neil G. Bluhm, Eric Mogentale, Jeffrey S. Quicksilver, Ira J. Schulman and K. Jay Weaver, typically invests in single asset transactions, distressed debt, loan restructurings, complex ownership situations, illiquid assets, targeted development, and entity recapitalizations. It seeks to invest in the development and acquisition of office, hotel, retail, industrial, multi-family, for-sale residential, senior and student housing, and golf assets through both individual, portfolio and company-level transactions with a gross asset cost of approximately $9 billion.
