Seladore Legal, one of London’s leading law firms for complex cross-border disputes, announces its latest new hire. Gary Milner-Moore joins as a Partner on December 1st, 2021.

Gary joins from Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF), where he was formerly a senior equity Partner and occupied various roles in the disputes practice, leading a number of high-profile client assignments. At Seladore, he reunites with a number of former HSF colleagues, including Seladore founder Simon Bushell, and Partners Gareth Keillor and Kevin Kilgour – adding to a stellar line-up of highly experienced litigators.

Over a career spanning 25 years, Gary has worked successfully across numerous large, cross-border cases. Notably, he has worked on international insolvencies including the global insolvency of Nortel, one of the largest corporate bankruptcies in history. He also advised major financial institutions, including in relation to financial derivatives. A qualified Solicitor Advocate, he has appeared both in Court and in arbitration proceedings.

The move caps a second year of patient and strategic growth for Seladore, which continues to attract a strong client following.

Seladore was founded by Simon Bushell and Gareth Keillor in early 2020. Simon spent 26 years at HSF, established its Russia and CIS disputes practice, and led its civil fraud team. He subsequently became Chair of the Litigation Department at Latham & Watkins in London.
