Nordic Paper Holding’s CAD$92 Million Acquisition of Glassine Canada

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP provided counsel to Deerfield Specialty Papers Inc. on the sale of Glassine Canada to Nordic Paper.

Nordic Paper Holding AB (OM:NPAPER) agreed to acquire Glassine Canada Inc for CAD 92 million. 

The transaction will be financed by Nordic Paper using cash and its existing credit facilities of CAD56. 3 million.

Nordic Paper Holding AB is a Scandinavian specialty paper producer that supplies kraft and natural greaseproof paper to over 70 countries.

Glassine Canada Inc. is a Canadian company that specializes in manufacturing greaseproof paper for food applications, based in Québec.
