NGC Nachfolgekapital GmbH’s Acquisition of Majority Stake in DIREKT CNC-Systeme GmbH

King & Wood Mallesons has advised NGC Nachfolgekapital GmbH (NGC) on the acquisition of a majority stake in DIREKT CNC-Systeme GmbH.

DIREKT CNC-Systeme GmbH, located in Alfdorf, Germany, is specialized in tasks especially in the CNC technology for wood, plastics and aluminum. With the CAD/CAM software program NC-Hops, the company offers the leading machine manufacturer-independent solution as a parametric workshop-oriented CAM system for 3-, 4- or 5-axis machines, 5-axis simultaneous machining and 3D form milling.

NGC is an entrepreneurial investment company that invests capital for a listed holding in German SME companies. 

The investment in DIREKT CNC-Systeme GmbH was made in connection with a succession plan. The two founders continue to assume management functions and are complemented by an additional managing director to ensure the long-term succession of the company to the next generation.
