Simmons & Simmons advised Moog Inc on a joint venture with Voith Group.
Moog Inc and Voith Group are both developers, manufacturers and suppliers of electric, hydraulic and hybrid drive solutions. The project provides for a strategic partnership to expand the hydrostatic servo-hydraulics business in various industrial markets.
The joint venture aims to combine the solid expertise of both companies in the field of hydrostatic servo drives and leverage synergies to enter new markets. The new joint venture will focus on research and development, design and assembly as well as service.
The Simmons team was led by corporate M&A Partner Dr. Stephan Ulrich (Picture) alongside competition Counsel Dr. Martin Gramsch. The further team included Peter Broadhurst and Duncan Green from London, Karin Hribar, Dr. Anja Schlichting and Sam Bertling from Düsseldorf. Alexander Greth and Franziska Ruppert from Düsseldorf were in charge of the employment matters while Heiko Stoll and Alexander auf dem Keller supported on the tax matters from Frankfurt.
