KKR’s Investment In GrowSari

Sidley advised KKR on the deal.

KKR acted as lead investor in the Series C funding round of GrowSari, a B2B e-commerce platform serving micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises in the Philippines. Founded in 2016, GrowSari is now a leading tech-enabled B2B platform offering over a hundred types of services, including bill payments and telco reloads, as well as procurement services for common retail goods and pharmaceutical medicines. KKR’s US$45 million investment is being made as part of its Asia next-generation technology strategy and will go towards supporting GrowSari’s expansion into more regions across the Philippines and to strengthen its financial services capabilities.

The Sidley team was led by Parthiv Rishi (M&A and Private Equity, Picture), with support from Moses Tan, Jian Wei Aw, and Ryan Lim (M&A and Private Equity).
