J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Acquisition of Campbell Global

Dechert advised J.P. Morgan Asset Management on the deal, while Ropes & Gray represented BrightSphere Investment Group.

J.P. Morgan Asset Management completed its acquisition of Campbell Global from BrightSphere Investment Group. The transaction is being done in an effort to directly impact the transition to a low-carbon economy and provide ESG-minded investment opportunities related to climate, conservation and biodiversity. Campbell Global is a Forest Management and Timberland Investing company. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter and terms were not disclosed.
