Dynagas’ Strengthening Germany’s Security of Gas Supply

Wikborg Rein advised Dynagas on the deal.

Uniper has facilitated the charter of two FSRUs managed by Dynagas Ltd. to the German government to diversify and strengthen the security of gas supply to Germany.

Dynagas Ltd provided two floating storage and regasification units (FSRUs) which will enable Germany to begin importing liquefied natural gas (LNG) as it currently has no LNG terminals of its own.  The FSRUs are expected to commence operations in early 2023.
