Computershare’s $142.9 Million Acquisition Of Corporate Creations Enterprises

Computershare Limited (ASX:CPU) entered into a binding agreement to acquire the business and assets of Corporate Creations Enterprises LLC, a highly regarded and growing registered agent business. The transaction was expected to close during the first calendar quarter of 2020.

This acquisition will accelerate Computershare’s registered agent growth strategy, bringing Corporate Creations’ extensive registered agent experience, as well as its national network across the United States, to Computershare’s clients. Computershare will be able to deliver an enhanced and integrated product suite and improved service proposition to clients that require U.S. registered agent and entity management services.

Computershare is a global market leader in transfer agency and share registration, employee equity plans, mortgage servicing, proxy solicitation, and stakeholder communications. They also specialize in corporate trust, bankruptcy, class action and utility administration, and a range of other diversified financial and governance services.

Corporate Creations was founded in 1993 and provides registered agent and related filing services to over 14,000 small, medium, and large U.S. corporations.
