Bouygues’ €2 Billion Bond Issue

Linklaters advised the banking syndicate composed of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, Crédit Agricole CIB, Natixis, BNP Paribas, CIC Market Solutions, La Banque Postale, Santander Corporate & Investment Banking, BBVA, CaixaBank, CommerzBank, MUFG Securities, NatWest Markets, SMBC and UniCredit on a Bouygues bond issue in standalone format in two tranches for a total amount of 2 billion euros. Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier advised Bouygues.

The first tranche of one billion euros bears interest at 2.250% for a maturity of 7 years and the second tranche of one billion euros bears interest at 3.250% for a maturity of 15 years.

The net proceeds of the issue will be used in particular to refinance the syndicated loan taken out in December 2021 by Bouygues as part of the acquisition of Equans, a company specializing in multi-technical services.
