Blackstone Mortgage Trust’s $392 Million Common Stock Offering

Simpson Thacher represented Blackstone Mortgage Trust, Inc. (NYSE: BXMT) in connection with its public offering of 12,420,000 shares of class A common stock, inclusive of shares sold pursuant to the underwriters’ full exercise of their option to purchase additional shares, in each case at a price to the underwriters of $31.57 per share, or approximately $392 million in the aggregate.

Blackstone Mortgage Trust is a real estate finance company that originates and purchases senior loans collateralized by properties in North America and Europe. The company is a real estate investment trust, or REIT, headquartered in New York City and is externally managed by BXMT Advisors L.L.C., a subsidiary of The Blackstone Group L.P.
