Banco Regional’s $120 Million Loan

Olmedo Abogados, Vouga Abogados and Norton Rose Fulbright advised on the deal

Banco Regional S.A.E.C.A. secured a $120 million loan from CAF-development bank of Latin America.

Proceeds will be used to to increase medium- and long-term access to finance for companies in the agricultural, livestock and agribusiness sectors of the country.

Banco Regional S.A.E.C.A. provides banking products and services in Paraguay. The bank, led by Eugenio Oze De Morvil and Raúl Vera Bogado, was founded in 1991 and is based in Encarnación.

Corporación Andina de Fomento, a development bank, provides financial and related services to the public and private sectors in Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain, and Portugal.

Olmedo Abogados advised Banco Regional S.A.E.C.A. with Alejandra Olmedo (Picture) and Marcos Otazu.
