Walden International’s Acquisition of Memphis Electronic

King & Wood Mallesons has advised Walden International on the acquisition of Memphis Electronic AG and Memphis Electronic Hongkong Ltd. (Memphis Electronic) from its private owners. CMS has advised one of the private shareholders of Memphis Electronic AG and Memphis Electronic Hongkong Ltd.

Memphis Electronic is a globally active specialized distributor of memory semiconductor devices. Founded in Germany in 1991, the company mainly serves small and medium-sized customers. With more than 20 lines, Memphis Electronic has a wide product portfolio. In Hongkong, Memphis Electronic also manufactures its own memory modules for use in commercial computers. Memphis will become part of the most comprehensive portfolio of storage products in the world under the newly established holding company Neumonda.

Walden International was founded in Silicon Valley in 1987 and is a leading global investment firm focused on investments in the technology sector. In addition to its headquarters in San Francisco in the USA, Walden International has offices in six other locations in Asia Pacific and Israel.
