Ares Private Equity Fund’s Acquisition of SLR Consulting

Latham & Watkins advised Ares Management Corporation with a team including Michael Bond (Picture – Corporate M&A), Richard Butterwick (Corporate M&A), Linzi Thomas (Corporate M&A), Sean Finn (Tax M&A and Deal Advisory).

Ares Management Corporation (Ares), a leading global alternative investment manager, announced its acquisition of SLR Consulting, a leading global environmental and sustainability consultancy, from Charterhouse Capital Partners. 

The transaction will be implemented by way of a conditional court approved scheme of arrangement by SLR and it is anticipated that completion will take place by Q4 2022, subject to applicable shareholder and regulatory approvals.
