Swedish fashion retailer H&M Group announced two significant partnerships with global solar energy companies.

The first partnership was with Lightsource bp. This partnership with H&M Group will have a positive impact on the local environment through Lightsource bp’s approach to sustainable project development which involves working with environmental and planning experts to ensure its projects benefit local ecosystems and boost biodiversity.

The second partnership was with Matrix Renewables (a Madrid-based global renewable energy platform).

These long-term partnerships will enable the growth of the renewable sector and will accelerate the decarbonisation of the global fashion industry and the transition to renewable energy.
