Ogier has provided Guernsey legal advice to Burford Capital Limited (Burford Capital) on the private offering of US$400 million aggregate principal senior notes by its wholly owned subsidiary, Burford Capital Global Finance LLC. Cravath, Swaine and Moore LLP worked as Burford Capital’s English counsel. Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, and White & Case LLP acted for the initial purchasers.The 6.25% senior notes due 2028 are guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by Burford Capital as well as Burford Capital Finance LLC and Burford Capital PLC.
