Terra-Gen’s $244 Million Financing for California and Texas Wind Power Projects

Simpson Thacher Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, KeyBank National Association and Commonwealth Bank of Australia, in a $244.3 million construction and bridge loan financing for the 193.5 MW Voyager II and 32.7 MW Texas Big Spring wind power projects being developed by Terra-Gen, LLC (“Terra-Gen”) in the Tehachapi area of California and Big Spring, TX respectively.

Terra-Gen, an affiliate of Energy Capital Partners, is a renewable energy company focused on developing, owning and operating utility-scale wind, solar and geothermal generation facilities. The company, led by James R. Pagano, was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in New York, with projects in California, Minnesota, Wyoming, Colorado, Texas, and Nevada.
