Sellagic Investments S.A.S., an investment vehicle for Grupo Energetico 23, executed its sale to STOA S.A. of a 30% equity interest stake in Poseidon Energia Renovable, S.A. (‘PER”), the owner, developer and operator of the “Los Guzmancito” wind farm power plant located in the municipality of Luperon in the Dominican Republic (the “Guzmancito Project”).
The 48.3MW first phase of the Guzmancito Project was commissioned in December 2019, and its second phase, which will almost double its capacity, has recently commenced construction.
The Guzmancito Project supports the Dominican Republic’s commitment to the development of renewable energy projects and grid stability.
