Starwood Capital Europe Advisers LLP (“Starwood”), a private investment firm with a core focus on global real estate and renewable energy infrastructure, announced its investment in Concrete VC I LP, a proptech-focused venture capital fund launched by investment platform, Concrete Ventures.
The fund will back seed and series-A real estate tech start-ups with a focus on ESG. It will invest in companies developing data-driven solutions around sustainability and workflow efficiency within the built environment.
Starwood was a founder investor in Concrete Ventures’ inaugural platform set up in 2016 and was one of the initial investors in the Concrete VC I LP fund.
London Private Equity Real Estate partner Oliver s’Jacob (Picture) advised Starwood on the transaction.
