SGS & Partners takes part in the Arab British Economic Summit

Organized by the Arab British Chamber of Commerce, the event will take place on June 23 at the Hilton London Metropole.

As part of the ongoing efforts to foster collaboration between the United Kingdom and the Arab world, the Arab British Chamber of Commerce has organized the fourth edition of the Arab British Economic Summit 2025, scheduled for June 23 at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel.

The Summit will highlight the strategic partnership between the UK and Arab countries, with a focus on expanding cooperation across various sectors and industries. The event aims to identify concrete initiatives to strengthen cross-border trade relations and bilateral investment flows, in the context of a post-pandemic, post-Brexit, and low-carbon global economy.

Topics to be addressed include sustainable tourism, e-commerce, franchising, and the financial sector.

This high-profile event will bring together government officials, senior executives, experts, and decision-makers from both the UK and the Arab world, with the goal of sharing insights and discussing the many emerging opportunities in trade and investment across new technology sectors.

As part of the conference, SGS & Partners will participate in a panel on opportunities in the fintech sector, focusing on the convergence of strategic, legal, and tax aspects in the context of embedded finance.

Gabriele Schiavone, partner at SGS & Partners, commented: “Trade relations with Gulf countries are playing an increasingly strategic role in global finance, as evidenced by the growing demand for support we are receiving from UK and European companies. In this context, SGS is working to offer a new perspective to cross-border investors and operators, based on an integrated advisory approach.”

Jalal Nasri and Klaus Schottler, heads of SGS & Partners’ Abu Dhabi office, added: “The opening of our new office will strengthen SGS’s presence and enable us to more effectively support our clients in their expansion projects across the Middle East. Specifically, regarding the Italian market, the firm is focused—with a dedicated multilingual Italian-Arabic team—on assisting Italian entrepreneurs in their expansion initiatives.”

SGS & Partners is an independent professional firm providing high-value corporate & private client services.
