SEB Private Equity’s Acquisition of Minority Stake in Sesol

Wistrand has advised the seller in connection with the investment. Setterwalls has assisted SEB Private Equity.

SEB Private Equity has acquired a minority post in Sesol AB.

Sesol is one of Sweden’s fastest growing solar cell companies and is a turnkey supplier of photovoltaic systems. Sesol was established in 2019 and during 2021 Sesol had a revenue of approximately SEK 235 million. Sesol has approximately 400 employees.

SEB Private Equity invests on behalf of financial institutions with focus on investments in attractive small and mid-sized companies in the Nordic countries with sustainable business models.

Swedbank has acted as financial advisor to the seller.
