Republic of Costa Rica’s $149.7 Million Loan


BLP advised on the transaction

The Republic of Costa Rica secured a $149.7 million loan from the AFD – Agence Française de Développement.

Proceeds will be used to finance anti COVID actions.

Agence Francaise de Developpement (AFD) operates as a public development bank. The Bank provides financing and technical assistance and development for energy, health care, biodiversity, water, and digital technology sectors. AFD serves customers worldwide.
