Linklaters advised NW Storm on the deal. Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) advised RGreen Invest. Vigo advised NW Groupe.
NW Storm, a French leader in battery electricity storage and charging stations for electric vehicles founded by Jean-Christophe Kerdelhué in 2018, raised€300 million on its fundraising from RGreen Invest, a management company dedicated to investments in green infrastructure and technologies.
NW Storm develops, installs, and operates the JBox® solution, a battery-based electricity storage system, as well as IECharge®, a high-power charging solution for electric vehicles, coupled with the JBox® storage unit.
Thanks to this fundraising, NW Storm, valued at €1.5 billion, becomes the first French unicorn in the energy transition field. This financing will enable the company to develop its energy storage network and increase its capacity to 2,000 JBox® sites by 2026, i.e. a capacity of 2,500 MW.
