Norres Group’s Acquisition of Baggerman Group

Loyens & Loeff and Boels Zanders advised the ultimate beneficial owner of Baggerman Group on the deal. Mayer Brown and CMS advised NORRES.

Baggerman Group was sold to NORRES Group, strengthening its market leading position in Europe’s hoses sector.

Baggerman Group, founded in 1951, specialises on the development, production and sale of rubber and thermoplastic hoses and couplings in Northern and Eastern Europe.
The Group’s geographical footprint covers large parts of Northern and Eastern Europe with branches in the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary and Romania. 

NORRES is one of the market-leading manufacturers of industrial plastic hoses in Europe. It has production facilities in Germany, China, the US and Italy and distribution and warehouse locations in the Czech Republic, France, Poland, Sweden, Taiwan and the UK. The company, founded in 1889, employs approximately 300 people worldwide.

NORRES is owned by Triton Smaller Mid-Cap Fund I, which invests in medium-sized, European companies in the industrial, technology, business services, healthcare and consumer goods sectors.

Loyens & Loeff advised the Swiss resident UBO of the Group with regard to all matters concerning Swiss and Dutch tax.
