Nordic RSC’s Outsourcing Contract With NNIT

Bech-Bruun advised Nordic RSC on the deal.

NNIT has won a five-year contract to deliver a multitude of IT services, including operations, monitoring and cloud services to the Nordic Regional Security Coordinator (RSC). The value of the contract is expected to represent a low triple-digit DKK million amount – with the possibility of a three-year extension (1+1+1). The contract will commence in January 2022.

Nordic RSC is a part of Energinet and makes up the joint offices of the four Nordic Transmission System Operators (TSOs) handling the transportation of energy. In Denmark, Energinet is the TSO for electricity and natural gas.

The energy sector in Europe is undergoing change as a part of the transition to more sustainable energy. Nordic RSC has a key role in this transition, as service provider supporting the TSOs with a view to ensuring efficient operation and a high level of security of supply.

The NNIT Group provides a wide range of IT and consulting services internationally.
