Lunar Group’s Acquisition of Lendify

Bech-Bruun has assisted Lunar Group A/S on the deal, while Accura advised the owners of Lendify. Vinge law firm advised Lendify on the deal. Synch advised shareholders of Lendify.

Lunar Group A/S announced the acquisition of Lendify AB.

Founded in Sweden in 2014, Lendify is a digital bank and a market-leading Swedish payment provider.

Lunar was founded in Denmark in 2015 and is a modern Nordic digital bank, which exclusively provides banking services online, has operations in Denmark, Sweden and Norway and a +250,000 customer base.

The mission of both banks is to challenge the traditional banking business model, including by building an efficient digital challenger to the traditional banks. Now, Lunar and Lendify join forces to fuel a Nordic expansion.

Bech-Bruun’s team was headed by Claus Aagaard Nielsen (Picture), Thomas Bøgedal Kristiansen and Morten Bruun-Larsen.

The Accura team included Jacob Vinther, Morten Steensen Jacobsen and Kristian Kaltoft Nielsen.
